Toys for Tots Sets New Marks in 2018​

Again more than 5,000 Moore County children were the recipients of a record 11,053 toys, 824 books and 1,836 stocking stuffers for Christmas 2018. These totals, combined with more than $31,000 in local donations, made the 2018 campaign the most successful Toys For Tots program in Moore County.

Marines Celebrate Founding With Party

The Marine Corps League, Sandhills Area Detachment No. 1001, is celebrating the 238th anniversary of the founding of the United States Marine Corps on Sunday, Nov. 10, with a birthday party at the Table on the Green, Midland Country Club, Pinehurst.
